The park now features a pavilion, ponds, bike and running paths, sand volleyball court, 10 tennis courts, exercise area, as well as upcoming kids play area. Part of the beach park is a man-made peninsula called Magic Island, which provides additional space for cultural events as well as a family gathering place for BBQs and other outdoor activities.
On a daily basis, you will see people engaged in various activities such as surfing, stand-up paddling, morning/afternoon strolls, jogging, tennis, etc. Condos that are directly across from the beach park commands unobstructed panoramic view of the Pacific ocean from Diamond Head to Kewalo Basin Harbor and beyond. With Ala Moana Shopping Center and Ward Village just around the corner, retail and commercial establishments in mid-town Ala Moana, and minutes away from Waikiki and Downtown Honolulu, it is therefore no surprise that condos around the beach park are in popular demand.
