Located on the South shore of Oahu, Kahala is an affluent neighborhood where the rich and famous reside. Along Kahala Ave is where you’ll find multi-million dollar beachfront mansions and access to several public beaches. The area is minutes to Waikiki and Hawaii Kai. It’s home to Kahala Mall with Whole Foods Market, Apple store, etc. (http://www.kahalamallcenter.com/), five-star hotel Kahala Hotel & Resort (https://www.kahalaresort.com/), Waialae Country Club (site of golf tournament Sony Open) and Diamond Head Crater. It’s also just minutes away from the well-known farmer’s market at Kapiolani Community College (https://www.kapiolani.hawaii.edu/project/farmers-market/).
There are a few condos in and around Kahala area. The only luxury condo in Kahala is Regency at Kahala, which is conveniently located right next to Kahala Mall. For 2017, the median price of units sold is approx. $1.2 million. Other condos around Kahala area starts at around high $400k range.
